چکیده
Abstract The Very Energetic Radiation Imaging Telescope Array System (VERITAS) is an array of four 12 m Atmospheric Cherenkov Telescopes (IACTs), located at the Fred Lawrence Whipple Observatory in Arizona, USA, that has been full operation since 2007. VERITAS conducts research a variety areas including galactic science such as supernova remnants, pulsar wind nebulae, binary systems; extra-galactic jetted AGN, gamma-ray burst and fast radio searches; multimessenger follow-ups astroparticle physics, dark matter searches. This paper will cover recent highlights results.

Highlights of Recent Multiwavelength Observations of VHE Blazars with VERITAS
We present long-term observations of several VHE (E > 100 GeV) blazars with VERITAS, together with contemporaneous Swift and RXTE Xray data. The observed targets include Mrk 421, Mrk 501, 1ES 2344+514. Strong flux and spectral variability is seen in Mrk 421 on nightly time-scales between January and June 2008, revealing a highly correlated X-ray to GeV/TeV connection. Modest Xray variability is...

For example, the escape sequence "ESC 2/4 2/8 4/3" or "ESC $ ( C" indicates that the bytes following the escape sequence are Korean KSC characters, which are encoded in two bytes each. The escape sequence "ESC 2/14 4/1" or "ESC . A" indicates that ISO 8859-1 is designated to G2. After the designation, the single shifted sequence "ESC 4/14 4/1" or "ESC N A" is interpreted to represent a characte...

Due to the rapid turnover of the small intestinal epithelia, the rate at which enterocyte renewal occurs plays an important role in determining the level of drug-metabolizing enzymes in the gut wall. Current physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) models consider enzyme and enterocyte recovery as a lumped first-order rate. An assessment of enterocyte turnover would enable enzyme and entero...
متن کاملVeritas: Status and Performance
VERITAS is an atmospheric Cherenkov telescope array sited in Tucson, Ari-zona. The array is nearing completion and consists of four, 12 m diameter telescopes. The first telescope in the array has been operating since February 2005, while observations with the full array are expected to begin in January, 2007. We report here in some detail on the performance of the first VERITAS telescope, and b...
